Thomas Harris

Thomas Harris (born 1940) began his career as a journalist, reporting primarily on violent crime in the United States and Mexico. He later worked as a reporter and editor for the Associated Press in New York. He is best known for the novel *The Silence of the Lambs*, whose film adaptation received the Academy Award for Best Picture.
