Thomas Glavinic, born in Graz in 1972, is an Austrian writer. His debut novel, »Carl Haffners Liebe zum Unentschieden«, was published in 1998. His other novels include »Der Kameramörder«, »Wie man leben soll«, »Die Arbeit der Nacht«, »Das bin doch ich«, »Das Leben der Wünsche« and »Das größere Wunder«. He received the Friedrich Glauser Prize for »Der Kameramörder«, while »Das bin doch ich« was shortlisted for the German Book Prize in 2007. Several of his novels have been adapted for the stage or screen.
