Thomas E. Hauck

Thomas E. Hauck is a landscape architect with a doctorate. He conducted research and taught in the Department of Open Space Planning at the University of Kassel and was a senior academic counsellor at the Technical University of Munich. Together with Wolfgang Weisser, he led the research project “Animal-Aided Design” (AAD). Hauck was also a partner at Polinna Hauck Landscape+Urbanism, an office for urban research and strategic planning, and a member of the artists’ group Club Real. He earned his doctorate at the Technical University of Munich with a thesis on the materialization of the aesthetic idea of “landscape”.
