Thomas Dienberg

Born in 1964, Thomas Dienberg joined the Capuchin order in 1983 and was ordained a priest in 1991. He studied theology in Münster, Nijmegen, Vienna and the United States, earning his doctorate in 1996. From 2001/2002 onward, he taught theology of spirituality at the Philosophical-Theological College in Münster, serving as its rector from 2002 to 2014. His main areas of work include Franciscan spirituality, mysticism and asceticism, and the relationship between spirituality, leadership and management. He published numerous works and served as co-editor of the journal Wissenschaft und Weisheit.
