Thomas Brezina

Thomas Brezina is a German-language author, screenwriter and television creator. He achieved his breakthrough in 1990 with the children’s book series “Die Knickerbocker-Bande”. Three years later, he created “Tom Turbo”, a series known both as a book series and as an interactive detective television programme. His other successful series include “Sieben Pfoten für Penny”, “No Jungs! Zutritt nur für Hexen!” and “Ein Fall für dich und das Tiger-Team”. Brezina has published more than 500 books, which have been translated into over 35 languages and sold more than 40 million copies worldwide. He also wrote radio plays and contributed to numerous television formats as a writer, producer and presenter. He began writing stories and working as a puppeteer while still at school. His honours include the Romy television award and Austria’s Golden Decoration of Merit.
