Thilo Petry-Lassak

Thilo Petry-Lassak, known by the pen name THiLO, was born in Gelsenkirchen in 1970. After growing up in the Sauerland region, he studied media studies and German literature in Münster. Since 1999, he has written screenplays, including for television series such as “Bibi & Tina,” “Schloss Einstein,” “Sesame Street,” and “Siebenstein.” In 2003, he began publishing his own stories. His books are aimed primarily at children and young readers and have been translated into numerous languages. Petry-Lassak has four children.
