Theresia Degener (born 1961) is a German legal scholar whose work focuses on disability studies and human rights theory. She served as chair of the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. She also taught law and public administration at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Rhineland-Westphalia-Lippe and headed the Bochum Centre for Disability Studies (BODYS).
