Terry Eagleton

Terry Eagleton is a British literary scholar and cultural theorist. He taught English literature at the University of Manchester and was a Fellow of the British Academy. Eagleton authored more than 50 books. Works published in German include *The Meaning of Life* (2008), *On Evil* (2011), *Why Marx Was Right* (2012), and *Hope Without Optimism* (2016).
