Tayfun Belgin

Tayfun Belgin, born in Turkey in 1956, is a German art historian. He studied art history, the theory and didactics of history, and philosophy at Ruhr University Bochum. From 1990, he worked as a curator at the Ostwall Museum in Dortmund. In 2003, he took over the management of Kunsthalle Krems, and in 2007 became director of the Osthaus Museum Hagen. Belgin has published extensively on modern and contemporary art and is the author of several books, including a monograph on Alexej von Jawlensky.
