Born in 1986, Tamar Valkenier is a former top chef and investigative psychologist with the Dutch police. In 2015, she left her previous life behind and embarked on an adventurous way of living. Among other experiences, she undertook expeditions with minimal equipment in the mountains of New Zealand, hitchhiked through Panama, climbed in Laos, and spent time with eagle hunters in Mongolia.
