Tahir Shah

Tahir Shah was born in 1966 and grew up in England. He comes from an Afghan family and worked as a writer, documentary filmmaker, and photographer. His published books include *The Sorcerer’s Apprentice in Calcutta* and *In the House of the Caliph*.
