Szczepan Twardoch

Szczepan Twardoch (born 1979) is a writer. He achieved his literary breakthrough with the novel “Morphine” (2012), which received the Polityka Passport Award. In 2016, Twardoch and his translator Olaf Kühl were awarded the Brücke Berlin Prize for “Drach”. Twardoch also received the Samuel-Bogumił-Linde Prize in 2019 and the Usedom Literature Prize. His novels have been translated into numerous languages. His works include “The Boxer”, “Humility”, “Coldness” and “The Zero Line: A Novel from the War”, as well as the diary “Whales and Moths”.
