Sylvia Brathuhn

Sylvia Brathuhn holds a doctorate and a degree in education. She worked as a trainer in palliative care and in the fields of dying, death and bereavement support, and as a resilience coach. She was also a member of the International Work Group on Death, Dying and Bereavement and co-editor of the professional journal “Leidfaden – Fachmagazin für Krisen, Leid, Trauer.” Until 2023, she served as state chair of the Rhineland-Palatinate/Saarland branch of Frauenselbsthilfe Krebs, a German cancer self-help organization.
