Sybil Volks

Sybil Volks is a writer who has published novels, short stories, and poetry. Her historical Berlin crime novel »Café Größenwahn« was nominated for the Glauser Award for Best Crime Debut. Her other novels include »Torstraße 1«, »Wintergäste«, »Die Glücksreisenden«, and »Café Finito«. »Wintergäste« and »Die Glücksreisenden« appeared on the SPIEGEL bestseller list. »Torstraße 1«, about Berlin’s Jonass department store and its eventful history, was adapted for film in 2022 under the title »Das Haus der Träume«.
