Sven Michaelsen

Sven Michaelsen studied literature and history and worked for around twenty years as a reporter and author at the magazine Stern. He became particularly known for his portrait interviews with influential figures of his time, published among other places in the SZ-Magazin. He received the German Reporter Award in 2014 and 2018. His books include Starschnitte, Wendepunkte, Ist Glück Glücksache?, Das drucken Sie aber nicht!, Warum hat das Unglück mehr Phantasie als das Glück?, Mitten im Leben stehen – wo mag das sein? and Muss man das Schöne in sich tragen, um es in der Welt zu erkennen?.
