Sven Hasper was born in Wiesbaden in 1965 and trained as an actor with Hilde Hessmann in Berlin in 1984. He began working as a dubbing actor while still at school. He became known, among other roles, as the standard German voice of Michael J. Fox. He also dubbed Matthew Broderick, Christian Slater, Mark Wahlberg, T. J. Thyne in “Bones” and Chris O’Donnell in “Grey’s Anatomy”. From 1988 onward, Hasper also worked as a dubbing director and dialogue writer on productions including “Titanic”, “There’s Something About Mary”, “The Full Monty”, “The Thin Red Line” and “The Day After Tomorrow”.
