Sven Hanuschek

Sven Hanuschek (born 1964) is a Germanist and publicist. He studied modern German literature, philosophy, psycholinguistics and theatre studies at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he taught modern German literature. His publications include biographies of Heinar Kipphardt, Uwe Johnson, Erich Kästner, Elias Canetti and Arno Schmidt, as well as works on Heinrich Heine’s poetry and Laurel & Hardy. He also edited works by Erich Kästner, including »Der Gang vor die Hunde« and »Der Herr aus Glas«, and co-edited Elias Canetti’s letters.
