Sven Gottschling

Sven Gottschling (born 1971) is a German physician and author. He served as chief physician at the Center for Palliative Medicine and Pediatric Pain Therapy at Saarland University Medical Center. His work focused on pain management and improving the quality of life of seriously ill people. His books include *Leben bis zuletzt – Was wir für ein gutes Sterben tun können* and *Schmerzlos werden. Warum so viele Menschen unnötig leiden und was wirklich hilft*, both of which became SPIEGEL bestsellers.
