Sven Benson

Sven Benson is a professor of medical psychology and medical education and heads the Institute for Medical Education at Essen University Hospital. His academic work focuses on how psychological factors, including expectation effects such as placebo and nocebo effects, and communication, as well as biological factors, influence the perception of pain.
