Svantje Wascher, born in 1972 near Osnabrück, trained as an actor in Vienna and Munich. She appeared in numerous stage productions as well as television and cinema films, including the Frankfurt installment of the German crime series “Tatort.” She also worked as an audiobook narrator and voice actor. Her recordings included G. A. Aiken’s “Dragon” series, the first three books in the “Crossfire” series, and Sasha Grey’s “The Juliette Society.” Wascher also served as a jury member at the Cannes Film Festival.
