Susanne Philippi

Susanne Philippi studied English and French in Munich and worked in the German school system for 32 years. For 15 years, she supervised the theatre project “Grenzgänger” at a correctional facility in southern Germany, which focused on the rehabilitation of prisoners. In a book, she described her work with the prisoners, its challenges and successes, and the project’s unexpected and abrupt end.
