Susanne Fischer-Rizzi

Susanne Fischer-Rizzi (born 1952) is a naturopath, nonfiction author, and a pioneer of aromatherapy and herbal medicine. She trained at the Josef-Angerer School and with herbal practitioners in Europe and Asia. She has written more than a dozen nonfiction books, which have been translated into numerous languages, and founded ARVEN, a school for herbal medicine, aromatherapy, and wilderness knowledge. She also taught in seminars and lectures in Germany and abroad. Her areas of expertise also include permaculture and agroforestry.
