Susanne Aernecke

Susanne Aernecke, born in 1961, grew up as a sea captain’s daughter and traveled around the world from an early age. She studied languages and completed training in directing at the University of Television and Film Munich. She subsequently made television documentaries for various broadcasters, including ARD, ZDF, Arte, 3sat, and Discovery. She also wrote books and screenplays, produced audiobooks, and worked on film dubbing. Her publications include “Komm mit, ich liebe dich. Eine Abenteuerreise in die Demut” (2008), “Irgendwas muss dran sein. Wahre Geschichten über Begegnungen mit Gott” (2010), and “Septemberkinder. Eine Kapitänstochter auf den Spuren ihres Vaters” (2015).
