Susanna Partsch

Susanna Partsch (born 1952 in Bonn-Bad Godesberg, Germany) studied art history, ethnology and education in Heidelberg. She received her doctorate in 1980 for a dissertation on secular book illumination in late medieval Florence. She subsequently worked at the Wilhelm Hack Museum in Ludwigshafen, first as a trainee and from 1982 to 1985 as curator for public relations and museum education. In 1985 she began working as a freelance author. She has published numerous books on art for children, young people and adults, including Haus der Kunst, Tatort Kunst and Wer hat Angst vor Rot, Blau, Gelb? She received the German Youth Literature Prize in 1998 for Haus der Kunst.
