Susana Fortes

Susana Fortes (born 1959 in Pontevedra, Spain) is a Spanish writer and journalist. She studied history and geography and worked, among other publications, for the newspaper El País. Her works have been translated into around twenty languages and have received several awards. In 2009, she received the prestigious Premio Fernando Lara for her novel Waiting for Robert Capa.
