Susan Beth Pfeffer

Susan Beth Pfeffer was born in New York City in 1948. Since 1970, she has published more than 60 novels for children and young adults. Her bestseller “The Year Without Michael” was named an ALA Best Book for Young Adults, among other distinctions. In Germany, she became known for the novel “Die Welt, wie wir sie kannten.”
