Stephen Petranek worked as a futurist and science journalist and served as editor of the Breakthrough Technology Report, a platform for discussion of emerging technologies and developments at the forefront of science. He became known in part for his TED Talk “Ten Ways the World Could End,” which is among the most-viewed TED Talks.
