Stephen Graham

Stephen Graham (1884–1975) was a British journalist, travel writer, and essayist. He became known chiefly for books about his travels through tsarist Russia and to Jerusalem. His writing expressed sympathy for impoverished people, agricultural workers, and itinerant travelers, while taking a critical view of emerging industrialization. His book “Die stilvolle Art des Wanderns” was first published in 1926.
