Steffen Loick Molina (Dr. phil.) is a sociologist. He worked as a research associate at the German Youth Institute (Deutsches Jugendinstitut e.V.) in Munich. His academic fields include the sociology of the body, gender and childhood, as well as practice- and discourse-theoretical approaches, ethnography, and qualitative reconstructive social research. He has conducted research on normative discourses surrounding the body in medicine and popular culture and contributed to several ethnographic projects on children’s lifeworlds.
