Steffen Burkhardt

Steffen Burkhardt is a communications scholar. His professional roles include a professorship in media and cultural theory, media research and media literacy at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, as well as directing the International Media Center. He is also associated with a professorship in media research at the School of Arts and Law in Changsha. His research examines media communication in business, politics and society. He has lectured, among other places, at Columbia University, the London School of Economics, Northwestern University and Tsinghua University.
