Stefan Holzhauer was born in Wuppertal in 1965. He worked as a freelance IT consultant, graphic designer and journalist, and also as an editor. From an early age, he developed a particular interest in science fiction and fantasy. After his first encounters with “Perry Rhodan” and “Star Trek,” he saw “Star Wars” in the cinema in 1978 at the age of twelve—an experience that further shaped his enthusiasm for speculative fiction.
