Sorj Chalandon

Sorj Chalandon (born in Tunis in 1952) is a French journalist and writer. He worked for the newspaper Libération for many years and, from 2009, was a journalist for the weekly Le Canard enchaîné. His reporting on Northern Ireland and the trial of Klaus Barbie earned him the Albert Londres Prize. His literary work has received several major awards, including the Prix Médicis and the Académie française’s Grand Prix du Roman.
