Sophia Fritz

Sophia Fritz was born in Tübingen in 1997 and studied screenwriting at the University of Television and Film Munich. Her debut novel, “Steine schmeißen,” was published in 2021, followed by “Kork” in 2022. Her other publications include the short story “Frankfurter Kranz,” in the anthology “Glückwunsch. 15 Erzählungen über Abtreibung,” and the nonfiction book “Toxische Weiblichkeit.” Fritz has written for ZEIT and ZEIT ONLINE and trained as a hospice volunteer providing end-of-life companionship. She has received literary scholarships and awards for her short prose.
