Sofie Cramer

Sofie Cramer was born in 1974 in Soltau and grew up in the Lüneburg Heath region. She studied German and politics in Bonn and Hanover before working as a radio editor. She later began writing novels, young adult books, screenplays and nonfiction. She became known for the autobiographically inspired bestseller “SMS für dich,” which was translated into several languages and adapted for the cinema in 2016. Cramer also wrote further novels under the name Sofie Cramer and worked as a writing coach and freelance screenwriter.
