Sir Thomas Moore (1920–2021) was a British World War II veteran. He served in the military in India and took part in the Burma campaign. During the COVID-19 pandemic, his charity walk using a walking frame attracted worldwide attention. He was listed in the Guinness World Records as the oldest recording artist to achieve a UK number-one hit and as the individual who raised the largest charitable donation in history.
