Sina Scherzant was born in Menden in 1991 and grew up in Germany’s Ruhr region. She studied educational sciences in Marburg and Hamburg and has worked as a lecturer in the education sector, as an author, podcaster and screenwriter. In 2019, she co-founded the Instagram account @alman_memes2.0 with Marius Notter. Her literary debut, »Am Tag des Weltuntergangs verschlang der Wolf die Sonne«, was published in 2023; »Taumeln« is her second novel. At the age of eleven, she won a local art competition with a drawing of a mouse.
