Simone Meier, born in Lausanne in 1970, is a Swiss author and journalist. She studied German, American studies and art history and worked as a culture editor at WochenZeitung, Tages-Anzeiger and watson. Her first novel, Mein Lieb, mein Lieb, mein Leben, was published in 2000. Her other novels include Fleisch (2017), Kuss (2019) and Reiz (2021). She was named “Cultural Journalist of the Year” in 2020 and 2022.
