Simon Schwarz, born in Vienna in 1971, is an Austrian actor. He worked at various theaters and appeared in numerous film and television productions, including the crime series “Tatort.” He gained wider recognition in 1998 with the film “The Seventh Peasant,” for which he received the Max Ophüls Award for Best Newcomer. From 2013 onward, he played a leading role alongside Sebastian Bezzel in film adaptations of Rita Falk’s novels about Detective Eberhofer. In 2024, he made his cabaret debut with the program “Das Restaurant,” performed together with Manuel Rubey.
