Simon Kuper

Simon Kuper was born in Uganda in 1969 and grew up in the Netherlands, Berlin, the United States and Spain. He is a journalist and author who worked for publications including the Financial Times, Die Zeit and Weltwoche. He also wrote football columns for The Times and The Observer. His book Football Against the Enemy received the William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award and is regarded as a pioneering work on football.
