Silke Schmidt

Silke Schmidt (born 1973) studied literary studies in Mainz and Edinburgh and fine art at the Berlin University of the Arts. After completing her Meisterschüler qualification, she worked as an artist and freelance illustrator for magazines, publishers, and agencies. Her published work includes the books *So schön schwanger. Mein Schwangerschafts-Tagebuch* and *So schön: Mein Baby. Tagebuch fürs erste Jahr*. She has also illustrated children’s and nonfiction books.
