Sigmund Kvam

Sigmund Kvam studied German, English and history in Trondheim and Freiburg im Breisgau. After earning a Cand. philol. degree at the University of Trondheim, he completed a doctorate in Comparative Germanic Philology at the University of Freiburg. A Germanist and scholar of linguistics and translation, he worked at Østfold University College and the University of Oslo. He later taught as a professor of German linguistics and translation studies at Østfold University College in Halden.
