Shon Faye (born 1988 in Bristol) is an author and journalist. She studied law and English, was involved with Amnesty International and Stonewall, and served as a senior editor at Dazed. Her writing has appeared in the Guardian, the Independent and Vice, among other publications. In 2021, she launched the podcast series “Call Me Mother”, in which she interviewed LGBTQ pioneers. Faye is the author of the award-winning international bestseller The Transgender Issue.
