Shelly Simons

Shelly Simons was born in 1991 and grew up in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. They trained as a disability support worker and hold a bachelor’s degree in special-needs education. Their professional experience has included work in schools, facilities for people with disabilities, and childcare centers. A period working as a school aide drew their attention to intersectional education and shortcomings in the school system. As an author, Simons has written texts, given talks on intersectionality and role-playing, and contributed to two podcasts. They also enjoy playing and developing role-playing games.
