Shawn Achor studied positive psychology at Harvard University and later taught there. He co-founded the research and consulting company Aspirant and helped develop Harvard’s Happiness course. As an author, he focused particularly on the relationship between happiness, mindset, and professional success. His best-known books include The Happiness Advantage (2010) and Before Happiness (2013), both of which became New York Times bestsellers.
