Serge Haroche

Serge Haroche, born in 1944 in Casablanca, is an experimental physicist. In 2012, he received the Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on the interaction between light and matter. He taught at the Collège de France in Paris and conducted research in quantum physics at the Laboratoire Kastler Brossel. Haroche was a member of the French Academy of Sciences.
