Sebastian Sons

Sebastian Sons (born 1981) holds a doctorate in Islamic and political science. His research has focused on the foreign, development, sports and social policies of the Arab Gulf monarchies. He worked as a researcher at the CARPO institute and held positions at the German Council on Foreign Relations and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit. Earlier in his career, he worked as a journalist for Sat.1’s sports department. In 2022, Atrium published his nonfiction book Menschenrechte sind nicht käuflich; he has also published other books on related subjects.
