Sebastian Junger (born 1962) is an American journalist and author. His books include the reportage collection “Fire” and the international bestseller “The Perfect Storm,” which was adapted into a film starring George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg. His book “War” (2010) became a New York Times and SPIEGEL bestseller. Junger received the National Magazine Award for his journalism. His documentary film “Restrepo” won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary.
