Sean Sherman

Sean Sherman (born 1974) grew up on the Pine Ridge Reservation, where he learned to hunt and gather plants at an early age. He worked his way up to become a chef. At 29, he experienced burnout and subsequently turned to his culinary roots. His restaurant Owamni in Minneapolis was named the best restaurant in the United States in 2022.
