Saskia Vogel

Saskia Vogel, born in 1981 in Los Angeles to an Austrian mother and an American father, has worked as a writer, essayist and translator from Swedish into English. Her translations include works by Karolina Ramqvist, Katrine Marçal, Johannes Anyuru, Rut Hillarp and Lina Wolff. She received the English PEN Translates Award for her translation work. Her debut novel, “Permission,” was published in five languages.
