Sarah Moss

Sarah Moss, born in Scotland in 1975, grew up in Manchester and earned a doctorate in literature from the University of Oxford. Her academic career included positions at the University of Kent, the University of Exeter and the University of Iceland, followed by teaching creative writing at the University of Warwick. She published her debut novel, *Schlaflos*, in 2009. Her novels were nominated several times for the Wellcome Book Prize, which she received in 2015.
